Junior Achievement uses hands-on experiences to help young people understand the economics of life. Volunteers bring the curriculum to the students along with their personal life stories to help students relate and make good decisions for their lives.
Volunteering with Junior Achievement allows me to give back to my community in a way that will make a positive impact on our future leaders.
Mr. Grayson, Westlake High School welcomed Junior Achievement to his class.
The Junior Achievement curriculum we covered was titled
"Careers With a Purpose."
It included lessons such as, "A Sense of Purpose,"
"What Do You Value?"
"What's in a Name? Jobs vs. Careers"
"The World of Work"
"Your Code of Conduct"
"Take Action"
